About Acoustic Events
Our Vision
Acoustic Events was formed in 2024, with the aim of providing the sort of events we wanted to attend. Relaxed 'listening' style gigs for music fans and retreats to nourish yarn crafters.
Based in NE Derbyshire we have two wonderful locations - a fantastic traditional village hall for gigs, and a superb hotel for retreats.
Our Team
Simon has spent the last 20 years on the fringes of the music and event industries, is a regular attendee at local open mic events, and brings a lifetime of organisational skill to ensuring each event runs smoothly and makes memories for every attendee.
Liz is the owner of Nibbles, Needles and Hooks, and is the inspiration behind the yarny events - you'll always find her somewhere, with knitting in hand!
